All Muscle No Hustle Finals from Ohio Valley

“Saturday was the last race on our schedule this year, and man was it a good one,” said Louisville motorcycle drag racing promoter Bird Man.

“Terron Babbage (featured photo above) took out Ralph C. Beavers Jr. in the final of Middleweight for the win. Even though Ralph didn’t get the win, he was able to secure second place in the points chase and bump A.j. Lewis to third. They were all chasing Terry Hoke who was inactive the last two races, but was still crowned the Middleweight All Muscle No Hustle Champion. Congrats to Terry on a great year!

“In Heavyweight, Bud Shouse entered Saturday with a 25 point lead over Brad Messer. They had been battling it out all year. Brad hurt his motor two races ago, so last race he showed up on a borrowed bike just to get some points and ended up getting the win to close the points lead Bud had on him. Unfortunately, Brad couldn’t get the bike ready for this race and wasn’t able to complete his comeback. Bud took out 2022 Heavyweight Champion Brandon Crook in the final and left no doubt that he was the Heavyweight All Muscle No Hustle Champion.

Scott Edwards

“In BMF, Terron Babbage came in as the leader in points and just needed to go one round or have second place holder Doug Coffman go out first round. Both ended up happening so Terron secured the first ever BMF Championship. Terron ended up going out second round to Root Erik Boner, who eventually lost in the finals to winner, Scott V Edwards. Scott had a lot of runner ups this year in different races he went to, but it was nice to see him get in the winner circle at the last race of the year.

Hot Boy on “New Testament”

“The main attraction for the weekend however, was a BMF first round grudge matchup between Terrell Gentry aka ‘Hotboy’ on his bike called ‘New Testament’ and Brad Messer on ‘Sonic.’ These guys had been going at it almost all year. There are plenty of videos circulating you can watch and plenty of post you can read these guys going back and forth. Hotboy got the win in the first round, and they decided to re-run it second round after Brad bought back in. Brad took the win that time. So they are now 1 and 1. Maybe next season we can get the third installment and break the tie. They also buried the hatchet, for now.

“The Rookies had another great showing. Nathaniel Downs finally found himself in the winner circle after a year of double entering his bike in several events and a lot of hard work. He took the win over David Leichtenberg.

“I wanna thank my team for another great year of racing. Shoutout to CJ Decker, Jeremy Clemens and Tierra Decker for all the help and support all year long. Couldn’t do any of this without you guys! Shoutout to Hns Escobar for working the light for us all year and answering random questions I had throughout the year. Charlie Bennett for giving us a place to race again this year. The staff at Ohio Valley Dragway for giving us a great facility to race at and allowing us to party after every race. The sponsors that supported us throughout the year by adding money to our pots. Allstate Mechanical, Crook Bros Trucking, LLC and Kentuckiana Contracting Services. The fans who came out all year to show support to the racers. Most of all thank you to the racers who came and participated all year long or even if it was just one race. We had a great year of racing.

“Looking forward to next season. The rules are out, but I will share them again later. If you have any questions just message me. Also working on the dates now, hopefully will have them out before the end of the month. Thanks again to everyone. I will have the video from the last race up soon, so be watching for it.”
